Job summary

APAR TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Java/J2EE developer to design, build and maintain enterprise applications. You will work on microservices architectures, apply patterns, and ensure performance while using Spark, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.

The role involves Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and test‑driven development (TDD/BDD) within Agile/Scrum teams. You will collaborate across technical groups and contribute to documentation and system designs.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands‑on Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed platform architecture.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Spring Integration.
• Experience with Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, HBase, HDFS and MongoDB.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Nexus and Maven.
• Experience with TDD and BDD methodologies.
• Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito and Cucumber.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE.
