Job summary

BCS is seeking an Application Developer to design and deliver scalable, secure cloud-native solutions using Java, AWS, and modern DevSecOps practices. You will contribute to architecture discussions, implement API integrations, and support delivery teams across the full development lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have strong Java/Spring, AWS, CI/CD experience and a proven track record in financial services or regulated industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture and design discussions aligning with enterprise standards.
• Design and develop scalable, secure cloud-native applications.
• Provide hands-on development for complex components, integrations, and critical deliverables.
• Support modernization initiatives including API development and cloud adoption.
• Follow engineering standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners and operations to deliver high-quality software.
• Incorporate secure coding practices with InfoSec and risk teams.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Investigate production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
