Job summary

BCS in Singapore is seeking an Application Developer to design and deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology solutions. The role covers development, prototyping, and supporting delivery teams through the full development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Spring Boot, hands-on experience with React/Angular, and familiarity with AWS cloud services. Knowledge of ServiceNow workflows and on-premises deployments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience building and managing critical applications.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical skills welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support including prototyping and coding.
• Build proof-of-concepts (POCs)
• Build Java and Web applications on AWS and On-premises
• Support build, deployment, and testing phases
• Ensure compliance with security and best practices
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Conduct performance and capacity assessments
• Deep dive and solve engineering problems
• Develop and maintain expertise in Java technologies (e.g., Struts, Spring Boot / Spring Batch), Tomcat, Oracle 19c, React JS, ServiceNow and AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, CloudWatch)
