Job summary

Lumina Advisory & Global Search seeks an experienced Senior Java Backend Development Engineer in Singapore to drive report module development, database logic, and system optimization for our software products.

The role centers on Oracle database optimization, stored procedures, and Java backend construction, with exposure to big data technologies. Collaboration with product, frontend, and other teams is essential for delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4–5 years of Java backend development experience.
Experience building large-scale enterprise systems or high-concurrency environments is preferred.
Chinese language proficiency is essential for liaison with Chinese-speaking counterparts and materials.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level backend systems, reporting modules, and data platforms.
Analyze requirements and translate into technical designs and features.
Develop Java backend services and implement database business logic.
Develop and optimize Oracle / OceanBase databases (stored procedures, packages, triggers, functions).
Optimize SQL and overall database performance for stability and speed.
Participate in RESTful API development and third-party integrations.
Support big data queries with MongoDB, ClickHouse and related tech.
Troubleshoot, tune performance, and support production environments.
Configure, build, and test system components.
Collaborate with product, frontend, and other teams for delivery.
Engage in technical research and system optimization as needed.
