Job summary

EPAM Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain our corporate action processing system using Oracle 12c PL/SQL in a global Agile team.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, optimize HA/DR setups, and contribute to high-quality API integrations with C#/Java/Python, and cloud data services (AWS/Azure/GCP). This role offers exposure to leading technologies and a strong growth focus.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience designing and implementing advanced Classic and Hybrid/Cloud database solutions.
• Hands-on, production-level Oracle database administration with expert performance tuning.
• Experience configuring and managing high availability and disaster recovery environments.
• Expert proficiency in writing and optimizing complex PL/SQL or T-SQL code.
• Strong experience across multiple RDBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) with cloud data services.
• Hands-on experience developing API integrations using C# / Java / Python / Apache Camel.
• Experience with testing (Component/Integration) and tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database solutions using classic technologies and cloud/hybrid data solutions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and evaluate features.
• Maintain partnerships with architects and other functional groups.
• Analyze business problems and technical environments to design high-quality solutions.
• Support a high-performance engineering culture and write project documentation.
