Job summary

Visa Hunt in Singapore seeks an experienced Java engineer to diagnose complex production issues while driving strategic feature development. You will be the main technical contact for high-priority change requests and ensure platform stability and scalability.

You will collaborate with QA, product managers, and frontend teams to validate requirements, perform RCA on incidents, and mentor junior developers in Java, SQL, and modern web stacks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java, SQL, and frontend/backend integration.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Troubleshooting: Lead investigation and resolution of complex production issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Feature Evolution: Design, develop, and deploy change requests ensuring seamless integration with existing architecture.
• System Maintenance: Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement long-term fixes.
• Code Quality & Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and guide junior developers on best practices in Java development.
• Legacy Modernization: Refactor and modernize older codebases for maintainability and security.
• Collaboration: Work with QA, Product Managers, and Frontend teams to validate requirements and ensure end-to-end functionality.
