Job summary

Zenika is seeking a skilled back-end consultant in Singapore to lead development on client projects, delivering scalable Java applications and RESTful services. You will design APIs, work with Spring/JEE, and manage databases including MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL when needed.

You’ll collaborate with client teams, apply best practices for security, performance, and architecture, and use Docker/Kubernetes to enhance deployment and flexibility. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Solid Java backend development experience with modern frameworks.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and web apps using Spring/JEE.
• Proficient in relational databases (MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead back-end development on client projects and ensure scalable, reliable applications.
• Design and implement REST APIs, batch processes, and web applications.
• Collaborate with client teams and other tech stacks in delivery.
• Write efficient SQL, optimize queries, and work with MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL.
• Leverage Docker and Kubernetes to improve deployment and maintainability.
