Job summary

Zenika Singapore is seeking a seasoned consultant to design and build robust, scalable full stack systems. You will collaborate with client engineering teams to architect, develop, and deploy modern solutions using Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, or Go, with React/TypeScript frontends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in a full stack capacity.
• Proficient in at least two major backend ecosystems (e.g., Java/Kotlin, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Golang).
• Deep practical experience building production-grade UIs with React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and concurrency patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure with a "you build it, you run it" mentality.
• Experience designing or optimizing automated delivery pipelines.
• Commitment to clean code (SOLID, DRY) and collaborative mindset.
• Consulting mindset with ability to explain complex technical decisions to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build full stack applications using modern frameworks (Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, or Go).
• Frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• Design clean, contract-first APIs (REST, GraphQL, and/or gRPC).
• Implement data access layers across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Apply engineering standards including TDD, code reviews, and living documentation.
• Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines and deploy with Docker, Kubernetes on cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in architectural discussions.
