Job summary

Zenith Infotech (S) Pte Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst (Java with DevOps) to analyse business requirements, design and develop enterprise applications, and support system implementation and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java development experience, a solid understanding of system integration, and exposure to DevOps practices within the SDLC. This contract role runs for 24 months (renewable) and is based at Novena with onsite or hybrid work from

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis, application and database design, software development, implementation, testing, and quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of Java, REST/SOAP Web Services, Java technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Bash/Shell scripting, Responsive Web Design, SOA, and SAML.
Experience working with Eclipse IDE and Linux, Red Hat Linux, Unix, and Windows Server environments.
Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, project management, and vendor management skills, with the ability to work independently in gathering and translating business requirements.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyse business requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and work closely with users, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver effective solutions.
Perform systems analysis, application and database design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and production support for Java‑based enterprise applications and web services.
Design, develop, and maintain REST/SOAP integrations while supporting application deployments, troubleshooting, documentation, and DevOps/CI‑CD activities throughout the SDLC.
