Job summary

V-ELEGANT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and backend systems.

You will work on fintech and enterprise apps, building high-performance solutions with Java, microservices, cloud tech, and databases. Responsibilities include designing and implementing backend services, APIs, and scalable microservices, integrating MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch, and deploying on AWS/Alibaba Cloud.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring/Spring Cloud.
• Experience developing microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL and NoSQL technologies such as Redis and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Alibaba Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Git and automated deployment.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Cloud and related technologies.
• Develop scalable microservices and distributed systems supporting high availability and high-concurrency environments.
• Design and develop APIs and backend services for financial and enterprise applications.
• Integrate and manage SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Develop solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using Jenkins and Git.
• Conduct application testing, debugging, code reviews and performance optimisation.
• Implement caching, messaging and distributed processing solutions to improve application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, application interfaces and development standards.
• Troubleshoot production and application issues and implement appropriate technical solutions.
• Continuously improve software quality, scalability, security and reliability.
