Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd urgently seeks an experienced Software Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable backend systems for fintech and enterprise apps. You will build high-performance Java microservices, APIs and cloud-based solutions, while ensuring reliability and security.

The role requires strong Java/Spring Cloud expertise, microservices experience, and proficiency with MySQL, Redis and Elasticsearch, plus CI/CD with Jenkins and Git.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring/Spring Cloud.
• Experience developing microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL databases like MySQL and NoSQL like Redis/Elasticsearch.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Alibaba Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Git and automated deployment.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes will be advantageous.
• Experience in fintech, payment, trading or high-volume transaction systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Cloud and related technologies.
• Develop scalable microservices and distributed systems for high availability and concurrency.
• Design and develop APIs and backend services for financial and enterprise applications.
• Integrate and manage SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch.
• Develop solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment using Jenkins and Git.
• Conduct testing, debugging, code reviews and performance optimisation.
• Implement caching, messaging and distributed processing to improve performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver software solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, interfaces and development standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement appropriate technical solutions.
• Continuously improve software quality, scalability, security and reliability.
