Job summary

NEWTONE SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced System Manager to lead operations, security, and lifecycle management of critical IT infrastructure supporting public sector systems. You will manage engineering teams and vendors to ensure high availability, resilience, and government ITIL alignment.

You will oversee incident, change, patching, DR/BCP, and security reviews while driving architecture changes, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure/system management experience.
• 5+ years leading technical teams or vendors.
• Experience with Windows Server, VMware, storage, backup/recovery, monitoring.
• Experience with Azure, hybrid cloud, GCC environments.
• Experience supporting Singapore Government, Defence, Healthcare, Statutory Boards, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead system operations, maintenance, and support across enterprise infrastructure.
• Manage system availability, performance, capacity, SLA compliance, and lifecycle planning.
• Lead incident, problem, change, release, and configuration management per ITIL.
• Oversee patching, vulnerability remediation, security reviews, and risk management.
• Manage backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity (BCP) and recovery exercises.
• Provide oversight for upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Manage vendors, contracts, and service performance.
• Mentor System Engineers and infrastructure teams.
• Provide management reporting on service performance, risks, incidents, capacity, and compliance.
