Job summary

National Library Board (NLB) is seeking a capable IT professional to plan and manage the development and maintenance of library applications. You will work with stakeholders on project requirements, timelines and procurement, ensuring enterprise systems are robust and responsive as NLB drives digital transformation.

You will lead end-to-end release cycles, translate user needs into detailed artefacts, and collaborate with business users to secure buy-in for IT-enabled services.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience in IT application development & maintenance with SDLC ownership.
• Familiarity with agile processes and user experience concepts.
• Knowledge of web/mobile tech like REST APIs, HTML5, CSS3, and JS libraries.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end release cycle of library software projects, ensuring on-time upgrades and a balance between new features and stability.
• Identify opportunities for new or improved products by feasibility studies and translate requirements into artefacts.
• Collaborate with business users to leverage IT for service delivery and prepare proposals to secure buy-in.
• Oversee lifecycle of web applications, including incidents, defects, and vulnerability remediation with stakeholders and vendors.
• Lead end-to-end IT procurement processes, ensuring value for money and managing licensing and enhancements.
• Coordinate with security/compliance teams to address audit findings and manage vendor relationships and SLAs.
