Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Senior IT Project Team Manager in Singapore to lead a portfolio of banking applications, mentor project managers, and manage budgets. The role requires hands-on leadership, governance, and strong communication with executive stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in IT or CS, 15+ years in technology, and significant experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies. PMP is a plus; join a fast-paced, strategic IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in technology, banking/finance preferred.
• Leadership experience with a track record of managing multiple PMs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Proven communication with non-technical and technical stakeholders; vendor management experience.
• PMI/ PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers within applications, including IT budget oversight.
• Provide status reporting to top management on milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Handle a portfolio of complex initiatives across lines of business and assist with annual work/resource planning.
• Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and manage risks, issues, and critical paths.
• Collaborate with IT partners and stakeholders for MVP deployment, testing, and validation; monitor tech trends.
