Job summary

KWE-KINTETSU WORLD EXPRESS (S) PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to install, configure and support complex network infrastructure. You will manage routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs, and oversee DNS/DHCP and site-to-site IPsec VPN deployments.

The role requires 5+ years in network engineering within a multinational or vendor environment, with strong project management and systems integration skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in IT or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience as network engineer in a MNC or vendor environment.
• Good project management experience in implementing hardware solutions.
• Strong knowledge of executing systems integration and infrastructure deployment.
• Solid hands-on practical experience in managing enterprise firewalls, routers, switches, proxy servers, domain name servers (DNS), bandwidth management system, IPS/IDS and server/platform system.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
• Providing maintenance support level 1 and level 2 for Cisco switches and VPN.
• Deployment and maintenance of firewall (Palo Alto, FortiGate and Cisco).
• Design, implement, configure and troubleshooting IPsec VPN site to site.
• Design, implement, configure and troubleshooting VPN access like SSL VPN, PPTP, L2TP, DHCP and internal DNS.
• Procurement and maintenance of network and IT assets.
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
• Optimizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Investigating faults in the network
• Manage AWS server and Veeam backup.
• Manage new office setup for network infrastructure.
