Job summary

INNERGY CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join a regional IT infrastructure team for a global logistics client.

This hands-on role spans end-user support, Microsoft infrastructure, cloud, networking, security and IT operations, serving as a senior escalation point while guiding junior engineers. The role covers onsite and remote support, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Azure and SQL administration, patching, security hardening and DR testing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and technical support.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Azure and networking.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting desktop, server, cloud, SaaS, network and security environments.
• Experience with system administration, patching, backup/recovery and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow, Freshservice or similar.
• Good understanding of incident management, SLA and ITIL practices.
• Experience with cybersecurity, vulnerability management, VAPT or IT audit activities will be advantageous.
• Previous experience guiding, mentoring or supervising junior IT support engineers.
• Willing to participate in standby and after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on onsite and remote support for laptops, mobile devices, business applications, printers and other IT equipment.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft SQL environments.
• Perform system administration and troubleshooting in a hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor system and infrastructure performance, identify potential bottlenecks and implement or recommend technical improvements.
• Perform Windows/server patching, system updates and security hardening to maintain system availability and protect against cybersecurity threats.
• Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity and infrastructure-related issues.
• Support data management, backup and recovery activities across cloud systems and applications.
• Investigate and resolve complex incidents, carrying out root-cause analysis and working with vendors or technology teams where required.
• Participate in Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) and IT audit activities, including technical remediation and follow-up.
• Support the planning and execution of IT Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises.
• Work with vendors and technology partners on technical issues, maintenance, procurement and infrastructure improvements.
• Monitor the IT service desk queue and ensure incidents are resolved within agreed SLA requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and troubleshooting support to junior IT engineers.
• Take responsibility for service desk operations when required, including coordination of workloads, escalations and team activities.
• Participate in a 24x7x365 standby rotation and provide after-hours technical support for urgent regional incidents.
