Job summary

REALTEK SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced IoT engineering professional to define and validate IoT product applications, measure power across states, and support customers in product design. You will work closely with system, architecture and validation teams to analyze failures and drive product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical engineering or computer science.
• Proven ability to thrive in a small, agile engineering team, taking initiative and ownership on delivery.
• Min 5 years of experience in IoT application or development.
• Strong understanding of HW, chip hardware and system design.
• Familiarity with IoT application, SOC architectures, hardware/software/firmware, low level drivers and HAL, RTOS, protocols and standards.
• Experience with WiFi, BT, USB, Video, security solutions, secure boot is a major plus.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation of test tasks.
• Experience with embedded system debugging tools (JTAG, logic analysers, oscilloscopes).
• Experience with power measurement for IoT products is a major plus.
• Familiarity with interfaces such as Ethernet/I2S/SPI/I2C/PWM/ADC/PDM is a plus.
• Good communication and documentation skills; collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Understand IoT product application scenarios and relevant standards.
• Define, setup and validate IoT product applications based on system requirements and performance.
• Measure power of IoT products across power states.
• Support customers on IoT product design.
• Perform failure analysis and coordinate with system/design/validation/test teams.
• Document application scenarios, test results and failure analyses.
• Provide technical feedback to system, architecture and MP for product improvements.
