Job summary

Our client, a rapidly growing foreign wholesale bank in Singapore, seeks an experienced Interest Rate Trader to manage rates portfolios and execute market-making strategies. You will collaborate with Corporate Banking, Treasury Sales, DCM and FI teams to originate hedging transactions and deliver client-focused rate risk solutions.

The role demands deep knowledge of fixed income and derivatives, MAS regulatory awareness, and the ability to coach junior team members in a dynamic market

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in the Rates space within banking Treasury or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage interest rate trading positions and portfolios to meet annual revenue targets.
• Provide market-making and pricing to corporate clients across IRS, CCS, FRA, Bonds, IR structures.
• Execute proprietary and client-driven trading strategies across all interest rate products.
• Offer competitive pricing, market-making and trade execution to internal and external clients.
• Generate trading ideas for sales through macro analysis and yield curve insights.
• Identify risk exposures, reposition portfolios, and implement hedging strategies.
