Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) seeks an experienced Macro trading professional to join our Singapore office, focusing on building a global fixed income strategy. You will execute trades, collaborate with quantitative research and technology teams, and interact with counterparties to improve strategies and tools.

The role requires at least 2 years of buy-side fixed income trading, strong risk awareness, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 2+ years trading experience in global fixed income on buy-side.
• Strong understanding of trading process and risk checks.
• Experience with large trade sizes/counts.
• Strong counterparty relationship building.
• Ability to evaluate market technicals.
• Understanding APAC fixed income market structures/products.
• Team player with independent work capability.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Docs.
• Familiarity with Tradeweb/Bloomberg interfaces.
• Programming languages a plus: Python, C++, SQL, R.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades via voice or ECN/automation for global rates products.
• Review risk including DV01, allocations, P&L tracking, portfolio risk checks.
• Collaborate with Quantitative Research for model optimization and trade feedback.
• Partner with Systems Technology to build efficient system support for Rates team.
• Build and maintain strong dealer relationships and communicate key information.
• Interact with sell-side Research teams.
• Provide daily market updates and feedback on flows, technics and strategy.
