Job summary

HCL Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain enterprise LAN/WAN environments across client locations.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, implement routing, switching, DDI, wireless, and security solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to drive transformation initiatives. The role emphasizes high availability, capacity planning, incident management, and producing clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering or enterprise network operations.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and connectivity services.
• Strong knowledge of DDI, wireless, firewall administration, and security concepts.
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, and VPN solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Monitor network health, analyse performance, and plan capacity.
• Troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues with minimal business impact.
• Configure routing, switching, DDI, wireless, and security solutions.
• Administer firewall, VPN, and secure remote access platforms.
• Collaborate with teams, vendors, and stakeholders on projects, upgrades, migrations, and transformations.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and foster operational excellence.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to deliver reliable network services.
