Job summary

Hcl Comnet is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to manage, monitor, and optimize enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure across on-site and customer environments. You will troubleshoot complex outages, configure routing, switching, DDI, wireless, and security solutions, and support security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years in network engineering, operations, or enterprise infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, routing & switching, and connectivity services.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM; wireless, firewall, and security basics.
• Experience with performance monitoring, capacity planning, incident management, RCA.
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, and VPN/remote access solutions.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network/infrastructure issues in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, NSE, or PCNSE are preferred.
• Fluency in English; willingness to work in hybrid onsite/customer location.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor network health, analyze performance metrics, and plan capacity enhancements.
• Troubleshoot complex network, connectivity, and infrastructure issues with minimal business impact.
• Configure routing, switching, DDI, wireless, and network security solutions.
• Administer firewall, VPN, and secure remote access platforms per security policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on upgrades, migrations, and projects.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management with risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and drive operational excellence.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to deliver reliable network services.
