Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable IT infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments in Singapore.

You will work across Windows and Linux, Azure cloud, Microsoft 365, and enterprise networking, emphasizing security, reliability, automation, and audit readiness. The role involves collaboration with IT teams and stakeholders on cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering roles.
• 3+ years Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, GPO).
• 3+ years Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or equivalent).
• 3+ years Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID).
• Hands-on with Azure services (VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Storage, Backup, Site Recovery).
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, Firewalls).
• Infrastructure security and hardening, patch management, CIS benchmarks.
• Automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Monitoring and backup/DR tools (Azure Monitor, ARC, Veeam).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.
• Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure: VMs, networking, storage, and identity services.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers: patching, hardening, performance, lifecycle.
• Configure network infrastructure: firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, routing.
• Implement security controls aligned with baselines and audit requirements.
• Monitor health, respond to incidents, and perform RCA with remediation actions.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling (PowerShell, Bash) for provisioning and monitoring.
• Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for business continuity.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on infra projects and migrations.
