Job summary

Astek is seeking an Information Technology Security Officer (Mid/Senior) to be based in Singapore. The role covers cybersecurity operations, architecture, and incident response across product engineering environments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of security experience, with hands-on knowledge of CI/CD security, Kubernetes, SIEM/EDR, and zero-trust concepts.

Qualifications

Currently, we are looking for Information Technology Security Officer (Mid/Senior) which would be based in Singapore

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of experience with a good knowledge in security architecture, secure system design, and threat modelling
• Ability to perform guided vulnerability validation and support remediation
• Familiarity with securing CI/CD platforms, Kubernetes environments, and cross-cutting platform products
• Exposure to developer-centric tools including agentic AI workflows and coding assistants
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and cloud-native security monitoring
• Ability to follow and contribute to detection logic, incident response playbooks, and threat hunting processes
• Scripting or automation skills (e.g. Python, Bash) for security tooling and workflow automation
• Understanding of identity and access management, secrets management, and zero trust principles

• Certifications: OSCP, CISSP, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications
