Job summary

Astek in Singapore seeks a Cyber Threat Investigator to lead threat intelligence and security operations. You will produce tactical intelligence, track threat actors and campaigns, and prioritize CVEs with a risk-based approach. You’ll coordinate remediation with owners, enrich findings for detection, and briefing both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience in threat intelligence, security operations, or related cyber security discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in tactical and operational threat intelligence including tracking threat actors and analysis of TTPs and IOCs.
• Solid understanding of vulnerability management concepts and ability to prioritize CVEs using a risk-based approach.

• Produce tactical and operational threat intelligence, tracking threat actors, campaigns, tools, and techniques.
• Assess emerging threats and newly disclosed vulnerabilities for relevance and potential organizational impact.
• Prioritize CVEs with a risk-based view considering exploitability, actor activity, and business context for remediation urgency.
• Coordinate remediation with asset or system owners and drive cross-team outcomes.
• Convert technical findings into concise, actionable intelligence for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enrich intelligence with IOCs, TTPs, and contextual analysis to support detection and defensive planning.

Currently, we are looking for Cyber Threat Investigator/ Cyber Threat Intelligence operations which would be based in Singapore

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years of experience in threat intelligence, security operations, or a closely related cyber security discipline.
• Demonstrate expertise in tactical and operational threat intelligence, including threat actor tracking and analysis of TTPs and IOCs.
• Solid understanding of vulnerability management concepts and the ability to prioritize CVEs using a risk-based approach.
• Experience in coordinating vulnerability remediation with asset or system owners and comfortable driving cross-team outcomes.
• Threat Intelligence: Produce tactical and operational threat intelligence, tracking threat actors, campaigns, tools, and techniques.
• Assessment of Emerging Threats: Rapidly triaging emerging threats and newly disclosed vulnerabilities to assess relevance, exposure, and potential impact to the organization.
• Vulnerability Prioritization: Analyze and prioritize CVEs using a risk-based approach, considering factors such as exploitability, threat actor activity, and business context to inform remediation urgency.
• Remediation Coordination: Work closely with asset and system owners to coordinate the remediation of prioritized vulnerabilities, tracking progress and helping resolve blockers to closure.
• Reporting and Communication: Convert technical findings into concise, actionable intelligence products and briefings tailored to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enrichment and Context: Enrich intelligence with indicators of compromise (IOCs), tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and contextual analysis to support detection, response, and defensive planning.
