BASE CAMP DIGITAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Security Officer to protect mission-critical OT/IT environments, covering cybersecurity operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and risk/compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related cybersecurity field.
• 5+ years IT security/cybersecurity/OT security experience.
• Experience in critical infrastructure or highly regulated environments.
• Hands-on with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, monitoring and incident response.
• Familiarity with NIST, IEC 62443, FISMA or similar frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder communication and ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain OT asset inventories, network architecture, data-flow diagrams, and security baselines.
• Monitor IT/OT environments with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security.
• Investigate cybersecurity incidents and support remediation.
• Conduct risk, vulnerability assessments, and audits.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation, patching, pentesting, and security improvements.
• Support cybersecurity compliance with NIST, IEC 62443, FISMA, ISO 27001.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Assess security of vendors and third-party providers.
• Support cloud security initiatives across AWS and/or Azure.
• Develop cybersecurity awareness and training programmes.
• Act as a cybersecurity SME and communicate risks to stakeholders.

Role Overview

We are hiring for an IT Security Officer to protect mission-critical IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments on behalf of our client. The role covers cybersecurity operations, OT security, incident response, vulnerability management, risk, compliance, and third-party security. You will work closely with IT, engineering, operations, infrastructure, and security teams to strengthen cybersecurity controls across critical operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain OT asset inventories, network architecture, data-flow diagrams, and security baselines.


• Monitor IT/OT environments using SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and other security technologies.


• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and support remediation activities.


• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and audits.


• Coordinate vulnerability remediation, patching, penetration testing, and security improvement programmes.


• Support cybersecurity compliance against relevant frameworks and standards such as NIST, IEC 62443, FISMA, and ISO 27001.


• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.


• Conduct security assessments of vendors, suppliers, and third-party technology providers.


• Support cloud security initiatives across AWS and/or Azure environments.


• Develop cybersecurity awareness and training programmes.


• Act as a cybersecurity subject matter expert and communicate security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.


• 5+ years of IT Security / Cybersecurity / OT Security experience.


• Experience in critical infrastructure, government, scientific, industrial, or highly regulated environments.


• Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, security monitoring, and incident response.


• Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, threat management, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.


• Experience with OT/ICS/SCADA environments is highly preferred.


• Knowledge of NIST, IEC 62443, FISMA, or similar frameworks.


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
