Job summary

Singtel Singapore is seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist to join our Cyber Security Engineering team. You will partner with business stakeholders to understand access requirements and ensure alignment with security controls across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments.

You will validate security tools, expand the security stack, and drive cost‑effective improvements while documenting SOPs and acting as SME for your technology stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, cyber security, or related field.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity, 2+ years in telco/enterprise IT.
• Experience designing, administering or deploying IT infrastructure with secure hardening.
• Experience hosting apps on on‑prem and multi‑cloud (AWS/Azure).
• IAM knowledge such as Active Directory and MFA.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Initiative and customer-service orientation.
• Knowledge of CIS Controls or cyber security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Validate effectiveness of security tools managed by CISO Singtel Singapore.
• Ensure adequacy of Cyber Security posture across tools.
• Review current technology stack for fit and cost effectiveness.
• Deploy new security stack to ensure fit‑for‑use and cost effectiveness.
• Expand scope of security systems (EDR, DAM, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, PAM).
• Deliver new security tools to uplift overall security posture.
• Ensure SOPs are documented and compliant with policies.
• Act as SME for assigned technology stacks.
• Collaborate with IT and Enterprise to uplift coverage.
• Engage teams or vendors to diagnose issues.
• Support design of technology stack ensuring best practices.
