Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Consultant to lead network and cloud security initiatives on a 2-year direct contract. You will deploy and manage cyber tools, ensure policy compliance, and work with SOC and engineering teams across global environments.

You will guide junior staff, design IAM/PIAM solutions, and collaborate with network, cloud, and infrastructure teams to enforce least-privilege segmentation and effective NDR/SIEM/EDR integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• 5–8 years in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of threat landscape, risk management, incident response, and data protection.
• Good understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, encryption).
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as NDR, firewalls, vulnerability management, and asset discovery tools.
• Experience in regulated or infrastructure-heavy environments is highly desirable.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall technical delivery of cybersecurity tools and initiatives across the organization.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members in resolving delivery challenges and customer escalations.
• Support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of IAM and PIAM solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions and projects.
• Own and execute the technical implementation of in-scope security technologies.
• Ensure timely and effective deployment of security solutions in line with approved architectures and designs.
• Support deployment and operations of segmentation and NDR capabilities across enterprise infrastructure.
• Maintain security policies, SOPs, and technical documentation.
