Job summary

National Dental Centre Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior Staff Nurse (Infection Prevention and Control) to detect, investigate, monitor and report healthcare-associated infections. You will coordinate IPC procedures and educate staff in infection prevention and control, guiding nursing and clinical teams.

You will lead audits, collect data, and contribute to improving infection control practices across NDCS facilities and services.

Qualifications

A recognised Certificate/Diploma/Degree in nursing or its equivalent.
At least 5 years as a registered nurse in an acute care setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A valid practising certificate issued by the Singapore Nursing Board.
Certification in Basic and Advanced Infection Control Training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Detect, investigate, monitor and report healthcare-associated infections within NDCS.
Coordinate and implement infection control procedures; Educate employees on infection prevention and control.
Provide guidance to nursing staff and clinicians on infection control matters.
Assist Chairman, IPC in defining plans to enable unit/department participation to meet policies/guidelines.
Perform audits and surveillance data collection for infection control; analyze data for improvements.
