Job summary

The National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) in Singapore is seeking a coordinator to join the HAI Surveillance team. You will conduct thorough and systematic surveillance of infection prevention and control across healthcare institutions, with feedback mechanisms to improve care delivery and reduce HAIs.

You will review case notes, manage data across multiple databases, support analysts, and help standardise data collection methods, documenting processes and contributing to research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
• 1–2 years of healthcare surveillance experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel capabilities for data management and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance and Data Management: Conduct comprehensive HAI surveillance across public healthcare institutions and facilities.
• Quality Assurance and Standardisation: Maintain standardisation logs and data dictionaries; ensure protocol adherence.
• Coordination and Audit Management: Plan and facilitate surveillance audits; manage communications with stakeholders.
• Research and Knowledge Translation: Contribute to research projects and presentations; support publications.
• Undertake other ad hoc responsibilities related to HAI surveillance and infection prevention research.
