Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/engineering.
• Proven 5+ years in industrial automation software with C++, C# and WPF.
• Experience programming motion control cards and distributed I/O systems.
• Strong knowledge of Windows API development and memory management.
• Deep understanding of C++ STL and templates.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug industrial automation software using C++, C#, and WPF.
• Interact with hardware components via Windows APIs and libraries.
• Program machine functionalities using motion control cards for precise movement.
• Integrate with distributed I/O systems to gather sensor data and control actuators.
• Implement robust data exchange protocols between software and hardware components.
• Use advanced threading and synchronization for performance.
• Apply memory management techniques including memory-mapped files.
• Utilize STL and templates for optimization and reusability.
• Understand Windows objects like events and mutexes for synchronization.
• Optionally develop user interfaces with WPF/WinUI for monitoring.
