Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to optimize product flow and layout in a Singapore plant. You will lead capacity analyses, route optimization, and space planning for lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities include implementing productivity initiatives, improving material handling, and using simulation and data analytics (Python/SQL, BI tools) to forecast performance and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years in high-product, low-mix manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and IE tools (5S, VSM, SPC).

Responsibilities

• Improve product flow from materials to finished goods with capacity analysis.
• Design efficient layouts; lead CAD-based redesigns and space planning.
• Drive productivity using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methods; monitor KPIs.
• Enhance internal logistics with AGVs, conveyors, Kanban and storage.
• Build simulation models and analyze data with Python/SQL and BI tools.
