Job summary

PUB's Changi Water Reclamation Plant is seeking an Engineer/Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer (Instrumentation, Control & Automation) to maintain critical water treatment equipment and ensure safe discharges while collaborating with engineers and contractors on maintenance strategies.

You will perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on M&E and auxiliary equipment, assist in planning and budgeting, procure spares, and monitor expenditures.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronic disciplines or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to respond to urgent situations out of hours.
• Comfortable with site work in a used water environment.
• Familiar with field instrumentation and its use in water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance for M&E and auxiliary equipment safely.
• Assist supervisor to devise maintenance plans and budgets, procure spares, monitor inventory.
• Respond to equipment abnormalities and follow SOPs when required.
• Utilise Asset Management System for procurement, contracts, and asset/inventory management.
• Support integration of instrumentation data with SCADA, data historians, and analytics.
• Participate in continuous improvement to boost safety, efficiency and reliability.
• Manage maintenance contracts to ensure contractor work aligns with objectives and budgets.
