Job summary

You will work in an inter-disciplinary team on data collection, numerical modelling, model calibration and knowledge-sharing, reporting findings and recommendations.

Requirements include a degree in Hydrogeology or related fields and proficiency in MODFLOW and GIS; strong analytical, writing and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualifications in Hydrogeology, Geology, Civil / Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in hydrogeological modelling software such as MODFLOW and GIS applications.
• Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: collect and analyse data from boreholes, hydraulic tests and geological studies.
• Numerical modelling: develop and refine numerical models with project consultants.
• Model calibration and updating: calibrate models using field monitoring data.
• Report preparation: prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Knowledge management: maintain protocols for model development, calibration and validation and conduct training sessions.
