Aura Play is an iGaming game provider delivering original HTML5 games worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Game Developer to join our team and create high-quality, performant games for desktop and mobile browsers.

You will own games from concept through production, collaborating with designers, artists, backend developers and QA to deliver polished titles. The role supports remote/hybrid work and offers opportunities to influence architecture and standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional game development experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript.
• Hands-on PixiJS expertise.
• Solid WebGL and browser-based rendering knowledge.
• Experience building HTML5 games from start to production.
• Familiar with game loops, state management, animation systems, and asset management.
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and mobile performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HTML5 games using PixiJS, TypeScript and WebGL.
• Build reusable game systems, components, and frameworks.
• Implement game mechanics, animations, UI, transitions, effects, and interactions.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, backend developers and QA to bring games from concept to production.
• Integrate game logic with backend APIs and services.
• Optimize games for mobile and desktop browsers.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers when required.
