Job summary

UES Holdings PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Safety and Environmental Lead to oversee HSE on a major Singapore project. The role focuses on enforcing WSH, risk assessment, training, and reporting to meet safety and environmental objectives.

You will lead a team, liaise with subcontractors and authorities, and provide expert guidance to prevent incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Registered WSHO/Safety Officer with MOM.
Degree or Diploma in Engineering or WSH or equivalent qualification.
At least ten (10) years of experience in construction industry.
Able to liaise with subcontractors and all levels of the Project Team.
Ability to identify potential and occurring problems affecting schedule at site.

Responsibilities

Lead the team for Safety and Environmental Management.
Oversee the development and implementation of HSE strategies, procedures, training, monitoring and reporting.
Enforce WSH on the project site and ensure compliance with regulations.
Establish HSE management system, programs and procedures on site.
Evaluate construction methodology and risk from the HSE perspective.
Advise Project Director & Project Manager on safety and health measures.
Update and report HSE issues regularly.
Participate in HSE audits and contractor safety networks.
Monitor site audits with PUB and report submissions to PUB.
