Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking a Senior HRIS Regional Project Manager to lead a large-scale SAP SuccessFactors implementation across APAC, India, Middle East, and Australia on a fixed-term contract (~18 months). You will drive regional delivery, governance, and cross-country coordination with the global HRIS program team.

The role requires 8+ years in regional project management, strong HRIS implementation experience, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience delivering regional or multi-country transformation projects.
• Proven experience leading HRIS implementations, preferably SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, UKG, Oracle HCM, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated experience managing project plans, RAID logs, governance frameworks, and executive-level reporting.
• Strong experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures.
• Experience working within large-scale global transformation programs and matrix organizations.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, risk management, and implementation governance.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain regional project plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation activities.
• Manage regional RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs and ensure timely resolution, escalation, and follow-up.
• Establish and maintain governance processes, project documentation, decision logs, and action trackers.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to global implementation standards and delivery timelines.
• Provide structured status reporting, updates, and recommendations to the Global HRIS Project Manager and project leadership team.
• Coordinate activities across HR, IT, Finance, business leaders, implementation partners, and vendors.
• Facilitate regional working sessions, governance meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
• Manage cross-country dependencies and drive accountability for action items and deliverables.
• Ensure alignment between regional business requirements and global project objectives.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, decisions, and change requests.
• Drive testing, UAT, training, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live readiness activities.
• Ensure effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and change readiness throughout the implementation journey.
• Escalate project risks, critical decisions, and delivery challenges through established governance channels.
