Job summary

QT Singapore is seeking a Senior Technician to join our Engineering Team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across hotel facilities, diagnose faults, and support daily operations to ensure guest comfort. You will supervise contractors, maintain records, and assist with energy conservation and safety initiatives.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in M&E, strong work ethics, and the ability to work with limited supervision in a busy hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; diplomas are an advantage.
• At least 3 years of working experience in M&E-related field.
• Current knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across hotel facilities and engineering systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs for safe, efficient operation of equipment.
• Respond promptly to guestroom defects and maintenance requests to minimise disruptions.
• Monitor plant rooms, utilities and critical systems for reliability.
• Perform repairs to assets including furniture, fixtures, fittings, doors and public areas.
• Prioritise daily work orders and manage maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Support audiovisual setups and technical needs for meetings and events.
• Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure safe, professional works.
• Maintain maintenance records and spare parts inventories.
• Coach junior team members and promote safe work practices.
