Job summary

Sime Industrial is seeking a specialized ACMV/MEP Project Engineer to lead tendering, design coordination, and execution of Pneumatic Tube Systems for hospital development and upgrades. You will own technical and financial prep of tender documents during bidding and transition to site supervision, routing, and testing on contract award.

Responsibilities include tender estimation, vendor sourcing, proposal drafting, routing design coordination, site management, and T&C, with focus on hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Building Service.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience in MEP construction, with exposure to Pneumatic Tube Systems or automated material handling in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Tender estimation: interpret hospital tender drawings, specs and quantities.
• Vendor sourcing: obtain and evaluate quotations from PTS equipment manufacturers and sub-contractors.
• Proposal drafting: prepare technical proposals, method statements, and compliance matrices.
• Routing design coordination: produce detailed PTS shop drawings and BIM layouts, resolve space constraints with other MEP services.
• Site management: supervise on-site installation of pneumatic transport lines and equipment.
• System testing & commissioning: lead pressure testing, software configuration, and HIS/EHR integration.
