Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore is seeking a seasoned Facilities Engineer to lead a team of engineers in developing equipment schematics with Equipment Engineers and Equipment Vendors. You will source cost-effective components, improve hookup methods and reliability, and oversee hookup capacity studies and distribution planning.

The role involves regular meetings, tender documentation, project claims verification, and coordination across engineering, facility operations and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Facilities Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in semiconductor facilities or related fields.
• Experience in equipment hookup design, utility distribution systems, and facilities infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management, cost control, and contract/tender management experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with project commissioning and handover processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to develop equipment schematics.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for hookup projects.
• Manage costs, schedule, and progress claims.
• Prepare weekly reports for Hook-up Section Manager.
• Standardize hookup procedures across facilities.
