Job summary

Kelington Engineering (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Hookup Project Engineer to deliver turnkey Total Facility Hook-Up solutions for advanced semiconductor wafer fabrication plants.

You will manage last-mile connections of facility utilities to production tools, ensuring on-time start-up and qualification for world-class clients. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, coordinating with fab owners, vendors, and contractors, and traveling to regional project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Master's degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
• 4-6 years of project engineering or construction management experience in semiconductor/high-tech facilities.
• Experience with base build to tool hook-up and utility systems (UHP/gases, chemicals, UPW).
• Proficiency in scheduling, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support full project lifecycle for semiconductor hook-up scopes from tender to handover.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and ITPs.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, tool vendors, and internal teams for alignment of tie-in points.
• Oversee installation of piping, UHP gas delivery, chemicals, vacuum, and wastewater systems with cleanliness protocols.
• Manage MTO, procurement of long-lead components, and vendor performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in FAT/SAT and commissioning activities.
