Job summary

Head Medical is seeking a Specialist in Anatomical Pathology for a landmark hospital in Singapore. The role involves reporting Histopathology and Cytopathology cases, participating in tumour boards, and contributing to quality assurance programs.

A minimum caseload is expected and opportunities for research and education are offered. Candidates should hold certification in Anatomical Pathology (ABMS/CCST/Royal Colleges) and have experience with frozen sections and multidisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

• Competent in reporting Histopathology and Cytopathology cases.
• Cover frozen section service and periodic after-office hours frozen section service.
• Conduct and attend tumour board meetings and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Involve in validation of stains.
• Participate in internal audits.
• Participate in external quality assurance programs.
• Contribute to educational activities and scholarly activities.
• There is a minimum caseload of 3,200 specimens per year.
