Qualifikationen

• Medical degree suitable for registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Specialist postgraduate qualification such as FRCPA or FRCPath with CCT from the UK, or American Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology.
• Australasian Fellowship for accreditation as a Specialist Pathologist with the Singapore Specialists Accreditation Board.

Aufgaben

• Provide diagnostic reporting for general histopathology and cytopathology cases.
• Perform intraoperative consults and validate/quality check laboratory processes.
• Lead the surgical pathology service and provide consultative support to clinical staff.
• Engage in teaching of medical students, residents, and pathology staff; participate in committees and tumour board activities.
• Engage in research opportunities and collaboration with hospital colleagues.
