Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) Engineer to lead electrical characterization and failure analysis for HBM products.

You will determine if failures are device- or package-related, leveraging DRAM knowledge and various test tools to drive accurate root-cause analysis. You will work with multiple engineering groups, assist lab users, and maintain a critical EFA knowledge base, while applying AI to improve test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering required.
• 5+ years in the semiconductor field.
• Knowledge of DRAM operation, fabrication process, device physics.
• Familiarity with FA, troubleshooting, packaging, wafer/functional testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze failed components from reliability testing and categorize failures.
• Interpret historical test results and adjust test parameters as needed.
• Coordinate with PYE/CSAM/FO/PFA and other groups for further analysis.
• Provide technical support and train lab users on equipment use and data interpretation.
• Maintain FA data, summarize results, and update FA databases.
