Job summary

Singapore Telecommunications Limited is seeking a technical leader to steer network cybersecurity strategy and architecture across the Singtel Group and regional associates. You will define secure design principles, standards, and governance to strengthen the Group’s resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in telecommunications networks with deep network cybersecurity expertise in carrier-grade environments.
• Proven technical leadership, architecture, or strategy roles within a telco network setting.
• Experience defining and implementing network security frameworks across multiple domains (core, access, transport, cloud, edge).
• Ability to translate industry standards (3GPP, ETSI, NIST, ISO/IEC, Zero Trust) into practical controls.
• Experience influencing regional OpCos or affiliates while balancing group governance and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with network and cybersecurity experts across Singtel Group and regional associates.
• Define and institutionalise network security principles, frameworks, and guidelines across multiple domains.
• Drive strategy development for security in alignment with business objectives and regulatory readiness.
• Oversee architecture governance and ensure consistent adoption of security guidelines.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., 6G, AI for networks) and translate implications for design and deployment.
• Foster knowledge sharing, communities of practice, and proactive risk/incident management across the Group.
