An established consumer products business is strengthening its regional finance function in Singapore and is seeking a Senior Group Finance Manager.

About The Job

This is a newly created role due to business expansion plans and this opportunity suits a technically strong finance professional who has an entrepreneur spirit, enjoys guiding teams, influencing stakeholders and taking ownership of reporting quality across multiple markets. You will play a key role in overseeing group financial reporting and reviewing consolidation outputs prepared by regional finance teams. With day-to-day preparation handled by the team, your focus will be on applying technical judgement, resolving complex accounting matters and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. You will drive accounting policies and guide teams on their practical application, including intercompany accounting, eliminations and foreign currency translation. You will also lead audit coordination across the entities within your remit, working with local finance teams and external auditors to resolve issues and deliver timely completion. Beyond reporting, you will strengthen financial controls, oversee regional tax compliance and contribute to ERP enhancements, process improvements and finance support for market expansion. The role offers regular engagement with regional leadership and the opportunity to develop the capabilities of offshore finance teams. Travel is approximately 10-20%, depending on specific project requirements.

Skills And Experience Required

You should hold a degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, with a CA or CPA qualification preferred, and at least six years of relevant experience in group reporting, consolidation and corporate accounting. You will bring a strong understanding of how consolidated accounts are prepared, enabling you to review submissions critically, explain accounting treatments and provide practical guidance to the team. We are looking for someone who can combine technical depth with sound stakeholder management: communicating complex matters clearly, constructively challenging accounting judgements and building effective working relationships across markets.
