Job summary

WORKATO PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Engineer (Go) to join the Platform team in Singapore. You will design, build, and maintain Go microservices that power the Workato platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and strong enterprise-grade features.

You will work with distributed systems, on-prem features, caching, authentication, and APIs, collaborating with Infra and SRE to meet high availability targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
• Solid experience with Go on the backend (2+ years).
• Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of core building blocks of web applications: databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, monitoring, etc.
• Experience working with distributed systems.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.

Software Engineer (Go)

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Go) to join our Platform team. Our platform is a large-scale system combining a Ruby on Rails monolith with a growing ecosystem of Go microservices. In this role, you will build and maintain business logic and enterprise-grade features for the Workato platform, including on-premise features, authentication, caching, work queuing, and APIs.

Responsibilities

You will also be expected to:

• Design, build, and maintain Go microservices with a focus on correctness and reliability.


• Implement business logic and enterprise-quality standards across the platform.


• Collaborate with Infra and SRE teams to ensure high availability and scalability requirements are met.


• Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle.


• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.

Required
