Job summary

Sanofi Singapore's Modulus facility seeks an Utilities & Maintenance Engineer to support operation, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of clean and black utilities and single-use equipment.

You will ensure systems operate safely and in compliance with cGMP, FDA/EMA standards, and HSE requirements, collaborating with engineering, production, QA, and regulatory teams to sustain uninterrupted manufacturing. 12-hour day/night shift rotation based in Tuas South.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to troubleshoot utility systems and single-use equipment.
• Strong understanding of GMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and reliability practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on clean and black utility systems and single-use process equipment.
• Support operation and maintenance for chilled water, compressed air, steam, water systems, RO water, WFI, clean gases, solvent systems, and waste management.
• Maintain and troubleshoot bioreactors, UFDF systems, biosafety cabinets, centrifuges, autoclaves, washers, dispensing booths, and column packing systems.
• Ensure documentation of maintenance and operational activities complies with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Support production teams in troubleshooting equipment and utility-related issues and escalate when needed.
• Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve uptime and efficiency.
• Participate in startup, commissioning, and qualification activities with a GMP focus.
