Job summary

Amgen Singapore Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to oversee day-to-day operation, monitoring, and first-line support of site utility systems that support Biologics and API manufacturing. The role emphasizes reliable utilities operation, safe handover, and compliance with LOTO and GMP procedures.

You will perform rounds, respond to alarms, coordinate with planners and service providers, and mentor junior staff while adhering to safety and ALCOA+ standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or Diploma in mechanical/electrical/mechatronic or facilities management with 4 years’ related experience.
• High School Diploma with 6 years’ related experience in plant or utility ops.
• Preferred certifications on steam boilers, work at height, confined space or NFPA hot work.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor site utility systems including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, and nitrogen.
• Interpret alarms and operating parameters; document actions and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with Planner, Utilities, Maintenance, and Manufacturing for shutdowns, handovers, and return-to-service.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced personnel on LOTO, alarms, and safety procedures.
• Perform LOTO before maintenance and ensure safe work practices.
• Support testing, commissioning, qualification, and verification of utilities.
• Maintain shift handover notes and GMP documentation.
