Job summary

Gradiant is seeking an experienced Expeditor to ensure that all orders and contracts are expedited, reviewing and monitoring vendors’ scheduling compliance, and elaborating status reports for action by the Procurement Manager and Project Manager to meet project schedules under budgeted costs and time frames.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration or any relevant discipline, with a general knowledge of construction principles and procedures.
• 8–10 years’ experience in Water or Oil & Gas as an expeditor; manufacturing background is a plus.
• Knowledge of procurement, fabrication processes, and vendor quality surveillance for project work.

Responsibilities

• Assign expediting level to Purchase Orders based on delivery schedule and project needs.
• Organize and participate in Kick-Off Meetings (K.O.M.).
• Monitor expediting performance and provide weekly status reports with corrective actions.
• Ensure BOMs are released, sub-orders placed, and orders expedited to support manufacturing schedules.
• Issue weekly critical items report to summarize key orders and progress.
• Escalate issues to PM/PPM and propose solutions to prevent delays.
