Job summary

StarHub is seeking a senior data architect to act as the authority for the DXP Data architecture, translating business and AI priorities into secure, scalable architecture across AWS, Snowflake, ingestion and analytics. You will own target architecture, data models, and reusable patterns while guiding engineering teams and partners.

The role emphasizes governance-by-design, architecture validation, and cross-team collaboration across Singapore, Malaysia and India to deliver enterprise data

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proven ownership of data-platform strategy and architecture governance.
• Deep expertise in conceptual, logical and physical data modelling.
• Cloud data-platform architecture expertise (Snowflake & AWS).
• Hands-on SQL and Python credibility for profiling and prototyping patterns.
• Experience with Airflow and ingestion technologies like Airbyte/NiFi/Openflow/Glue.
• Ability to embed security, privacy, quality, lineage, and cost considerations into architecture.
• Understanding of AI/ML and responsible-AI data patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the DXP Data target and reference architecture and multi-year roadmap.
• Define enterprise domain models, data contracts and reusable data-product patterns.
• Approve material designs and manage architecture debt, ensuring security and operability.
• Drive reusable patterns across ingestion, storage, modelling, serving and metadata.
• Translate stakeholder priorities into sequenced architecture outcomes and decisions.
• Guide engineering, analytics and vendor teams through reviews and governance processes.
• Maintain architecture runway and modernization priorities; reduce technical debt.
• Lead data-product design and define data-product boundaries and ownership.
